Bajaj Auto reports 10% rise in February sales

Bajaj Auto has registered a rise of 10% in total sales to 393,089 units in February 2019 against 357,883 units in February 2018. The company’s total exports out of the above stood at 171,383 units, a gain of 19% as compared to 143,860 units sold in the corresponding month last year.

The sales of the motorcycles increased by 10% and stood at 327,985 units in the month under review against 297,514 units in February 2018. The company has reported 8% growth in commercial vehicles sales, which stood at 65,104 units as compared to 60,369 units in month of February 2018.

Bajaj Auto is world’s fourth largest two and three-wheeler manufacturer. Bajaj Auto has three plants in all, two at Waluj and Chakan in Maharashtra and one plant at Pant Nagar in Uttaranchal.
