Glaxosmithkline Pharmaceuticals to focus on 20 brands, 5 therapeutic segments: Report

GlaxoSmithKline Pharmaceuticals, the Indian unit of British drug major GSK, is reportedly planning to  focus its energies on 20 brands and 5 therapeutic segments anti-infectives, dermatology, respiratory, gastro-intestinal and anti-pyretic to drive future growth in India.

The drug maker is also looking for deeper engagement with distribution channel partners and securing control over the supply chain with its own factories.

GlaxoSmithKline Pharmaceuticals (GSK Rx India) is one of the oldest pharmaceuticals company. The GSK India product portfolio includes prescription medicines and vaccines.
