Reliance Industries closes deals with four investors

Reliance Industries has closed deals to sell a minority stake in its digital arm -- Jio Platforms to four other investors, receiving a total of over Rs 30,062 crore. The company has closed the sale of 6.13% stake in Jio Platforms with L Catterton, The Public Investment Fund, Silver Lake, and General Atlantic. The company has sold a total of 25.09% stake in the subsidiary to 11 investors for Rs 1,17,588.45 crore.

Reliance Industries is India’s largest private sector company. The company’s activities span hydrocarbon exploration and production, petroleum refining and marketing, petrochemicals, retail and 4G digital services.
