MGL reports 42% rise in Q2 net profit

Mahanagar Gas (MGL) has reported results for second quarter ended September 30, 2021.

The company has reported 41.53% rise in its net profit at Rs 204.29 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 144.34 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 63.94% at Rs 930.16 crore for Q2FY22 as compared Rs 567.38 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

Mahanagar Gas is in the business of City Gas Distribution (CGD), supplying natural gas in the city of Mumbai including its adjoining areas and the Raigad district, in the State of Maharashtra, India.
